The apartments themselves are built to Lifetime Homes requirements, which means they are easily adaptable if required. For instance all the doorways are slightly wider allowing for wheelchair access, the en-suites are ideally suited with level access showers and walls designed to support handrails/seats if required.
The apartments can be fitted with smoke detectors and fire alarms which are linked to a community alarm unit. Personal trigger alarms can also be added and are all linked to a 24 hour monitoring facility.
Should in future the need for additional support or care be required then Trinity Lodge Assisted Living Apartments also offer an alternative . These are all inclusive style rental apartments. For more information CLICK HERE . In addition to this there are two 60 bed Care Homes located a short distance away but still within the estate. Both are also run by Augustinian Care and give residents of the village priority should they require a bed. The homes are able to offer both full time and respite beds, so if you have been in hospital and require a couple of extra weeks recuperation then this can be arranged.
